Former CM Parkash Singh Badal and Sukhbir Badal condole demise of Bibi Satwant Kaur Sandhu
Chandigarh, February 6 : Former Chief Minister and Patron of the Shiromani Akali Dal Parkash Singh Badal and party President and former Deputy Chief Minister Sukhbir Singh Badal today condoled the demise of senior SAD leader and former Minister Bibi Satwant Kaur Sandhu.
In a condolence message PS Badal described Sandhu as a committed social worker who had served her constituency Chamkaur which she represented for five times in the Vidhan Sabha and the State selflessly. He said Mrs Sandhu’s work for upliftment of downtrodden people of society would always be remembered.
Sukhbir Singh Badal in his condolence message said Mrs Sandhu was a loyal party worker who had upheld Panthic principles in public life. He said the SAD had lost a mass leader in her demise.
Both the leaders prayed to the almighty to grant peace to departed soul and strength to family to bear this irreparable loss.
Meanwhile party Senior Vice President Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema also condoled death of Bibi Sandhu and said the people had lost a beloved leader who had done exemplary work in upliftment of her assembly segment as well as society at large.
