The Chief Minister  Charanjit Singh Channi should with immediate effect lower the petrol and Diesel prices to give relief to the public : Ashwani Sharma

Chandigarh: 6 November: The Chief Minister  Charanjit Singh Channi should with immediate effect lower the exorbitant price of Diesel and Petrol as the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi has reduced the excise duty on both. Said Ashwani sharma state President of BJP here todayUrging the Chief Minister the BJP President has pointed that one day prior to Diwali the Prime Minister  Narendra Modi slashed five and ten rupees of excise duty on Petrol and Diesel. The relief has been passed on to the public by many states. Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Gujrat, Assam and Orrisa have lowered the prices but unfortunately Punjab is selling petrol at 106.20, and Diesel at 89.83 while Chandigarh yesterday did course correction and lowered the prices. Petrol is  94.23 and Diesel is 82.64 is selling respectively.

The Congress unfortunately is a government of scams and its own party leaders are busy accusing each other of corruption. “ what can one expect from a party which is self destructive with the state President Navjot Singh Sidhu and the chief Minister  Charanjit Singh Channi warring with each other instead of giving good governance to the public which has suffered for four and half years due to total collapse of the congress regime. Said Mr Ashwani Sharma.

The Chief Minister should take  action immediately and give relief to the public which is suffering a huge economic burden. The petrol pumps on borders of Haryana , Himachal and Chandigarh will also benefit.Said Mr Sharma
