RS. 233.50 LAKH Will BE SPENT TO IMPROVE THE SYSTEM OF DRINKING WATER IN LUDHIANA: DR. INDERBIR SINGH NIJJAR
NEW SEWERAGE LINES WILL ALSO BE LAID

The Punjab government led by Bhagwant Mann is continuously striving to provide basic facilities and clean environment to the people of the state. Taking steps in this direction, Local Government Minister Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that, State Government has decided to spend Rs 233.50 lakh for improve the drinking water supply in Ludhiana and laying new sewerage lines. The process for these works has been started.
Giving more information, Dr. Inderbir Singh Nijjar said that water supply lines will be laid at different places to improve water facility at Ludhiana. Apart from this, submersible tube wells of different horse power will be installed at different places. This will help in providing drinking water to the people without any hindrance.
The cabinet minister said that sewerage lines will also be laid at different places in Ludhiana to provide clean environment to the people of the state.
Dr. Nijjar directed the officers and employees of the department to ensure corruption free administration to the people of the state. He said that if any official or employee is caught committing corruption, he will not be spared.
Minister said that the officials of the department to complete the related work on time. Apart from this, quality should be brought in the work and strict adherence to the rules should be ensured.
