Mukerian, February 24- During the SARKAAR VAPAAR MILNI a trader highlighted the plight of Talwara residents due to the non-functional BBMB hospital. The Chief Minister promptly instructed the Chairman of PSPCL to address this issue with BBMB authorities. Furthermore, he assured that the state government would advocate for the hospital’s upgrade to ensure quality healthcare.

In response to concerns raised about Mandis, the Chief Minister announced plans to modernize mandi infrastructure across Punjab.Furthermore, he underscored the government’s unwavering commitment to trader and industry welfare, highlighting the significance of enhancing facilities to promote economic growth and prosperity in the region.
Parking Issue Resolution in Hoshiarpur
Addressing the inconvenience of parking vehicles at Gaushala bazaar in Hoshiarpur, the Chief Minister ordered immediate availability of parking space at the DMO office for traders. He reiterated the government’s stance against any inconvenience to traders and industry.
Expansion of Health Insurance Coverage
In response to another trader’s concern, the Chief Minister announced a significant policy change: extending health insurance coverage to traders with a turnover of Rs 2 crore, up from Rs 1 crore. The aim is to improve healthcare access for traders across Punjab, ensuring their well-being and fostering a healthier business environment.
