Punjab Trials for Khelo India Youth Games
Chandigarh, January 2: The state of Punjab Trials is gearing up for the 6th Khelo India Youth Games scheduled to take place in Tamil Nadu from January 19th to 31st, 2024. To form competitive teams for Malkhamb and Volleyball, trials will be conducted on the 3rd and 5th of January, respectively.
According to the spokesperson of the sports department, Malkhamb team trials for both boys and girls are set to occur at Saffron Public School in Phagwara on January 3rd at 11 am. Additionally, Volleyball team trials for girls will be hosted at the Sports Complex in Sector 63, SAS Nagar, on January 5th at 11 am.
Aspiring participants are required to meet the eligibility criteria, with a stipulation that their date of birth should be on or after January 1, 2005. This ensures that the selected players align with the age requirements for the upcoming youth games.
The ongoing trials in Punjab serve as a pivotal platform for budding young athletes to exhibit their skills and vie for the chance to represent their state at the esteemed Khelo India Youth Games.
