PROBE CONG, AAP HAND IN SACRILEGE CONSPIRACY TO DEFAME, DESTABILISE BADAL GOVT : SAD

MAJITHIA SAYS  SACRILEGE BENEFICIARIES AND KUNWAR VP BE NARCO TESTED

WILL SIT  HONOUR HC OR CONG DEADLINES ?

Chandigarh, June 24 – The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) today asked the SIT investigating the Kotkapura police to widen its the scope and probe the hand of Congress and AAP in the sacrilege conspiracy to defame and destabilise the then state government led by  Parkash Singh Badal.
Making this demand at a  party press conference, senior Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia also demanded that all the likely beneficiaries of the sacrilege conspiracy during the Akali regime be narco-tested to expose their hideous role.  “ All the major leaders of Congress and their secret accomplices from the AAP must be put through narco tests to get the truth on what role each one of them played in that conspiracy aimed not only destabilising the then govt but also at destroying the age old trust between the devout Sikh masses and the champions of their interests , the SAD

  Majithia was addressing a joint press conference with Senior Vice President Dr Daljit Singh Cheema  at the party headquarters here this afternoon.  Majithia  also  expressed “surprise over the brazenness with which the Congress High Command has gone about  issuing a deadline for the  conclusion of the ongoing probe by a Special Investigation Team. ” Whose orders is  the SIT expected to  obey – High Court’s or Congress High Command’s ?In fact the    Congress leaders   have let out the worst kept secret in the state – that even the  previous SIT  actually  obeyed  not the honourable High  Court  but political masters in Chandigarh and Delhi . This is in total defiance of the orders of the honourable High Court that the SIT is not answerable even to the state government led by Captain Amarinder Singh. But the Congress has  “ordered” the CM to get the SIT report completed within a month.  That is a formal and shameless admission of what the people of Punjab  already knew  i.e., the Congress government  used the previous SIT merely for rubber stamping a report  actually prepared by political  leaders like  Sukhjinder Randhawa, Navjot SIdhu, Sunil Jakhar, aided and assisted by leaders of AAP as well as well as  chiefs of  some so called Panthic organizations who made nocturnal trips to CM’s residence those days to approve the report   The report was however presented  for public consumption by Kunwar Partap Singh.
The Akali leaders said that the Congress High Command, their state unit and the state government have come to believe that only  illegal arrests of Sardar Parkash Singh Badal and Sardar Sukhbir Singh Badal can save their credibility which  lies in rags. ” But we dare them to defy the  law  on this and they will see what they will see.

Majithia and Dr Cheema said that the HC indictment of Kunwar Viayy Partap for ‘politicizing the whole process and now the “orders of the Congress High Command to complete the new SIT report within a month  clearly reveal that the conspiracy  against Akalis and their government that started with the accts of  sacrilege at that time is still continuing. This makes the narco testing of  all the principal characters of the devious plot an absolute prerequisite for unearthing the truth behind these evil designs.

The Akali leaders said that Navjot Sidhu had openly admitted that Amarinder had told him about Congress party’s design to purposely drag the probe till the last six months of their tenure in order to create hype and milk the issue in  the elections

Majitha and Dr Cheema said that the “ political asylum” provided by AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal was also as a  part of a prior deal on sacrilege report against Akalis especially PS Badal and SS Badal  “Hence Kejriwal too must be narco-tested to unveil the entire conspiracy”.

Majitia also said that the SIT had exposed itself to doubt by taking the services of former Director, Prosecution Vijay Singla as well as Joint Director, Vigilance Jatinderbir Singh to question former chief minister Parkash Singh Badal. He  said as per section 156 CrPc the power to investigate  rested solely with a police officer and the role of the prosecution only started when a challan was presented in a case. He said  theVigilance department was interfering in the case and indicated that Vigilance Director B K Uppal and Advisor BIS Chahal were running the probe show.

Meanwhile the SAD leaders also blasted the congress “ circus” of their leaders suddenly discovering that they have not fulfilled any of their promises.  Suddenly everything in the Congress govt is wrong. A civil war has broken out there and leaders are accusing one another of betraying the people of Punjab. Ironically, each one of them are tell it the truth about all the others

Majithia and Dr Cheema also highlighted how Punjab was virtually without a government. there was virtually no government. Although the situation has worsened in the last two months, it has never been any better anytime during the past four and a half years.

The Akali leaders ridiculed AAP which has to depend on a non Punjabi and non Sikh in Kejriwal to give them a Sikh face

Majitha and Dr Cheema also highlighted how the government had discriminated against employees in the 6th Pay Commission by slashing their allowances including Non Practicing Allowance of doctors. They said junior employees were most affected with their House Rest Allowance being slashed even as Conveyance Allowance was abolished.

Majithia also made it clear the Congress legislator Fatehjang Bajwa was not giving up the job given to his son out of any altruistic motive. “We have forced him to do so.  We will also force former chief minister Beant Singh’s grandson to give up the post of DSP in the coming days or dismiss him once we form the government in the State”, they leaders added
