Manjinder Singh  Sirsa sends legal notice to Channi for defamation for making false claims about apology tendered by Kejriwal to Majithia

Asks to tender apology in three days or face civil and criminal cases

Chandigarh, December 25 : BJP Sikh leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa has send a legal notice to Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi for making false and baseless claims on drafting apology tendered by Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal to Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia and has asked him to tender written apology within three days or face civil and criminal cases.

Notice sent through his lawyer Jaspreet Singh Rai said that Channi has made wrongful deliberate defamatory remarks in relation to an alleged compromise between Arvind Kejriwal and Bikram Singh Majithia. It said that Channi has made wrong claims that Sirsa was instrumental in getting settlement between Kejriwal and Majithia.

In this notice legal team of Sirsa has also attached links of social media/media organizations and websites where video of Channi is available in which he can be seen making concerned claim.

Notice said that Channi made this claim only to gain limelight and scandalous allegation was leveled by him against Sirsa which is highly condemnable because his claim is totally bogus and has been made with sole intention to realize medi’a far reaching influence and to boost his political propaganda.

In this notice Channi has been asked to tender written apology within three days of receipt of this notice and withdraw all the malafid  statements made Sirsa failing which he will filed civil and criminal cases against Channi.
