- ₹1,033 crore for medical education which is an increase of 56.60% over FY 2021-22 (RE).
- “Punjab Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences” at Sahibzada Ajit Singh (S.A.S) Nagar.
- New medical college i.e. Sant Baba Attar Singh State Institute of Medical Sciences, district Sangrur with 100 MBBS seats is being established. An initial allocation of ₹50 crore has been provided in FY2022-23 for Sant Baba Attar Singh State Institute of Medical Sciences.
