Food Supply Minister launches flour brand of PUNSUP

PUNSUP’s aim is to provide flour at reasonable rates: Ashu

Chandigarh, April 15

Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (PUNSUP) has started its own flour brand, which was launched by Food & Civil Supplies Minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu today. On the occasion Chairman, Punjab State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd. Tajinderpal Singh Bittu, MLA Bawa Henry, Senior Vice Chairman Narinderpal Verma, Managing Director Dilraj Singh, IAS, and other officials of PUNSUP were also present.

During the launching ceremony,  Ashu said that PUNSUP has used high-quality wheat of Punjab in this flour. He said that keeping in view of the soaring prices of daily used goods, PUSUP has decided to provide this flour at no profit no loss basis to the consumers. He said that the flour is available at the starting price of Rs. 25 per kg.

The Food and Civil Supplies Minister said that this initiative was taken by the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh to provide high-quality flour to the people of the state at affordable prices.
