*Chandigarh Police Registered Criminal case against Raja Warring Including other 50/60 workers*
Today, the MLAs/Ex-MLAs of Congress Party including other 50/60 workers led by Sh. Amrinder Singh @ Raja Warring, President of Indian National Congress Punjab and Partap Singh Bajwa, leader of opposition, assembled at CM Punjab residence at 10 am. They were informed that, today, no meeting is scheduled for them, however, meeting was fixed on 10.06.2022 at 1:00 Pm. They did not disperse upon this intimation and started a sit down protest. They were asked to vacate the premises but they refused to leave and continued their sit in protest and obstructed government officials on duty. On this, police rounded up the protestors and they were taken to Police station sector 3. In this regard, a case FIR No. 63 dated 09.06.2022, U/S 188, 341, 353 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Swarnjit Singh, DSP/CM Punjab Residence against the 36 MLAs/Ex-MLAs and other workers of Punjab Congress party. After preliminary questioning, they were allowed to leave. No one has been arrested or detained in this matter. POLICE said Investigation of the case is in progress.
