Chandigarh, June 18 : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a scathing attack on Bharatiya Janata Party and BJP’s Punjab president Sunil Jakhar after the video of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi surfaced from Gujarat jail.
Senior leader and spokesperson of the Aam Aadmi Party Punjab Neel Garg cornered Sunil Jakhar on this issue and questioned that will Jakhar, who defames Punjab on every issue, question his party’s Gujarat government on this matter?
He said that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi is running his nexus from Gujarat jail. This video has proved it. If Sunil Jakhar is really serious about gangsterism, then he should question the Chief Minister of Gujarat on this matter. He should also ask the Chief Minister of Gujarat why a large quantity of drugs is being smuggled from Gujarat to Punjab.
Garg said that BJP leaders and especially Sunil Jakhar always keep giving anti-Punjab statements. Sometimes in the name of drugs, sometimes in the name of law and order and sometimes in the name of gangsterism, they try to defame Punjab, as if Punjab is the worst state in the whole country. These people leave no stone unturned to defame Punjab. Whereas the truth is that the situation of Punjab in terms of law and order is much better than the neighboring states. This has also come to light in the data of the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB).
This matter became controversial when a new video call clip of Lawrence Bishnoi surfaced in which he was wishing Eid Mubarak to someone on a video call. Currently, Lawrence Bishnoi is imprisoned in a Gujarat jail, sparking significant questions about the Gujarat BJP government as well.
