Manjinder Singh Sirsa files criminal complaint against Congress MP for spreading hatred and inciting sentiments against Sikh Community

New Delhi, May 21 : BJP Sikh leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa today filed a complaint with Delhi Police against Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary for spreading hatred and inciting sentiments against Sikh community on death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi.

In his complaint submitted to the police, Manjinder Singh Sirsa disclose that today May 21 is death anniversary of Former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who is also knows for his hatred against Sikh community. He said that on this day Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary tweeted a tweet in the morning in which he reiterated stand of Rajiv Gandhi on death of Indira Gandhi that when big tree falls, earth shakens. He said that this remark of Rajiv Gandhi had incited people against Sikh community as a result of which thousands of Sikhs were massacred in Delhi and other parts of the country.

Sirsa said that reiterating same stand of Rajiv Gandhi on his death anniversary amounts to spreading hatred and hurting the sentiments of Sikh community.

He further disclosed that in Twitter image in the matter of the accused person, has intentionally done which is not only threatening, unacceptable, hatred spreading but has also caused resentment in the Sikh community as it has sprinkled salt on the wounds of the Sikh community.

He urged Delhi Police to immediately  register a case against Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury for hurting the sentiments of Sikh community under section 295A of IPC and other appropriate sections so that no one dares to do such act in future.
