CAPT AMARINDER CONDOLES DEATH OF FATHER OF SENIOR JOURNALIST JUPINDERJIT SINGH

Chandigarh, March 4: Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh on Thursday condoled the death of Gurmukh Singh, the father of Senior Journalist Jupinderjit Singh, Special Correspondent of The Tribune and father-in-law of Kanchan Vasdev, Assistant Editor, The Indian Express.
Gurmukh Singh (77), former National Volleyball Coach breathed his last at his residence in Mohali this evening after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
In his condolence message, the Chief Minister extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family, relatives and friends of the deceased and prayed to the Almighty to give them the courage to bear this grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Raveen Thukral also mourned the sad demise and extended his sympathies to the family.
