Sukhbir Badal announces names of Zonal Presidents of SOI
Chandigarh, August 5: The Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal today announced Zonal Presidents of the Students Organisation of India (SOI) after due consultations with party General Secretary and Former Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia, SOI Patron Bheem Singh Waraich and President Arshdeep Singh Robin Brar.
In a statement issued from the party head office here today, the SAD Senior Vice President Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema said that those hard working student leaders have been appointed Zonal Presidents included Prabhjit Singh Karmuwala from Zone 1 comprising Ferozepur and Fazilka, Harman Brar Khote of Malwa Zone 2 comprising Farikdot, Moga and Sri Mukatsar Sahib, Maninder Singh Mani of Malwa Zone 3 comprising Bathinda and Mansa, Amandeep Singh Mann of Malwa zone 4 comprising Sangrur and Barnala districts, Karanvir singh Kranti of Malwa zone 5 comprising Patiala and Malerkotla districts, Simranpal Singh Tiwana of Malwa zone 6 comprising Fatehgarh Sahib, Ropar and Mohali districts, Akashdeep Singh Bhathal of Malwa zone 7 comprising Police districts Khanna and Jagroan and Ludhiana urban.
Similarly Gauravdeep Singh Valotha has been appointed President of Malwa Zone 1 comprising Amritsar and Tarn Taran, Amritpal singh Dalli of Doaba zone 1 comprising Hoshiarpur, Nawanshehr and Adampur, Phillour, Kartarpur and Jalandhar Cantt Assembly segments of Jalandhar, Gurinder Singh Sonu of Doaba Zone 2 comprising Kapurthala and other remaining assembly segments of Jalandhar.
Dr Cheema further disclosed that Mehnajpreet Singh has been appoint ted Presid ent of Chandigarh unit, Gurpal Singh Mann as Office Incharge SOI and Advocate Puneetinder Singh Kang has been appointed as Legal Cell Incharge SOI. He said that other remaining office bearers will be announced soon.
