Chandigarh, January 29: Central Civil Services Cultural and Board are organizing multiple sports tournaments. These include the All India Services Hockey, Wrestling, and Volleyball (Men & Women) events. The tournaments will take place from 14th to 28th February 2025 at different places.

The authorities will hold trials for the selection of hockey teams at Surjit Hockey Stadium in Jalandhar on 3rd February at 11 am. Wrestling trials will take place at Nehru Stadium in Faridkot on the same day at 11 am. The authorities will hold volleyball team trials at the Multipurpose Stadium, Sector 63 SAS Nagar (Mohali) on 3rd February at 11 am.

All India Services : “Volleyball Trials Open to Security Personnel

The spokesman of the sports department further informed that in these trials, security services personnel can participate. This includes para-security organizations, central police organizations, police, RPF, CISF, BSF, ITBP, and NSG, etc. Also, autonomous parties/undertakings/public sector banks, including central ministry-run banks can participate. Excluded are casual/daily workers and temporary office workers. Newly recruited employees who have been in regular services for less than 6 months cannot participate. Government employees (regular) and government officials (regular) of different departments can participate only after receiving NoC from their departments. The cost of travel, accommodation, and food in this tournament will be paid by the player personally.
