
Irrigation and Water Resources Minister, Smt.Shruti Choudhry visited the HVPN Power Training Institute in Panchkula to review an exhibition being prepared by the Irrigation Department.
Chandigarh, March 18 – Irrigation and Water Resources Minister, Smt. Shruti Choudhry, reviewed an exhibition being prepared by the Irrigation Department during her visit to the HVPN Power Training Institute in Panchkula. The Art and Culture Department has created artworks for this exhibition, which they will showcase at the national-level event on the Jal Shakti Abhiyan on March 22 at Tau Devi Lal Stadium, Panchkula. . Additional Chief Secretary, Sh. Anurag Agarwal and Chairperson, Haryana Water Resources Authority, Smt. Keshni Anand Arora were also present during the visit.
Shruti Choudhry also directed officers to ensure smooth execution of the programme.
Smt. Choudhry appreciated the department’s efforts in preparing the exhibition. She stated that the event would be attended by the Union Minister and other distinguished guests. Choudhry also directed officers to ensure smooth execution of the programme.
She further said that the sixth edition of the Jal Shakti Abhiyan, “Catch the Rain” will be launched from Panchkula on March 22. The event will be attended by Union Jal Shakti Minister, Sh. C.R. Patil and Haryana Chief Minister, Sh.Nayab Singh Saini as chief guests. The programme will also recognize and encourage progressive farmers, women, and individuals contributing to water conservation. The aim of the programme is to promote water conservation and raise awareness about sustainable water management practices.
