Speaker Sandhwan Inaugurates School Projects Under ‘Punjab Sikhya Kranti ’

Chandigarh/Kotkapura April 9: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today inaugurated various Educational development projects of schools. These are situated in the villages of Deviwala, Sirsari, and Kotsukhia. This is part of the second phase of the ‘Punjab Sikhya Kranti ’ campaign.

While addressing in schools, Speaker S. Kultar Singh Sandhwan said that the main objective  of our Government under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister S. “Bhagwant Singh Mann aims to make Punjab prosperous and progressive by providing quality education to students.”The Punjab Government is continuously making major reforms in education. They are also undertaking development works. Due to these efforts, parents are preferring to shift their children from private schools to Government schools. He said that our Government will continue to spend a large portion of the budget on education. More facilities are now being provided in government schools. They include computer labs, digital blackboards, state-of-the-art science labs, and improved infrastructure. Besides this, training for government school teachers is provided by foreign institutions. This helps them impart quality education to the students. “Sandhwan today inaugurated development works at Government High School Deviwala in Kotkapura, where the government spent ₹54.40 lakhs on the upgrades.” Similary, he also inaugurated development works of Government Primary School, Sirsari. He also developed works at Government Primary School Kotsukhia. Lakhs of rupees were spent to improve the infrastructure of the schools.
