— SAYS CM, RC KNEW LAW WILL CATCH UP WITH KEJRIWAL’S CORRUPTION AND TRIED DISTANCING THEMSELVES FROM THEIR SUPREMO
— DEMANDS KEJRIWAL’S HENCHMEN INCLUDING RC LIKE ‘VIJAY MALLYAS’ GIVEN POSH RESIDENCES FROM CM QUOTA MUST BE PROBED FOR DEFRAUDING PEOPLE OF PUNJAB
CHANDIGARH, MARCH 22: Targeting AAP for defrauding the people of Punjab worth thousands of Crores through conspiracy called Punjab Excise Policy, the Punjab BJP President Sunil Jakhar has demanded an ED probe to unearth role of Kejriwal appointed henchmen including Raghav Chadha who has now fled abroad.
Punjab Excise Policy is a bigger malaise than Delhi’s now defunct Policy, Jakhar said lashing out at Punjab Chief Minister for letting the open loot and plunder of state being run on proxy by Kejriwal’s henchmen who have been given plum houses in posh sectors out of CM quota.
Jakhar said BJP would lead a delegation to Election Commission here tomorrow to seek an ED probe into Punjab Excise Policy to save Punjab from further harm at the hands of ‘kattar beimaan’ AAP.
Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Raghav Chadha knew about Kejriwal’s corrupt ways, Jakhar said adding that this is the reason behind RC’s sudden running away from India at a seemingly weak pretext of getting eye treatment which is otherwise available in India.
Both of them were tools and were acting at the behest of Kejriwal who had schemed in such a way that he could appropriate others for fulfilling his corrupt designs and still try to remain scot-free but not for long as law always catches up, Jakhar added.
Raghav Chadha’s tweet about visiting the Palace of Westminster on invitation from Labour MP Virendra Sharma which Mr. Sharma has himself refuted is more than a giveaway of Mr. Chadha’s innocence and guilt of being part of the conspiracy to loot Punjab, Jakhar said after reading both the tweets.
Bhagwant Mann ji must have been in the know of the impending fate of his Supremo and was celebrating yesterday by singing songs. CM’s celebration and Raghav Chadha’s fleeing abroad are ominous signs of a rudderless boat which CM was alluding to in his songs yesterday, Jakhar quipped.
Cautioning the state administration that direct repercussions of Kejriwal’s arrest will be in Punjab, Jakhar while addressing a press conference here said he would urge ED to protect those honest officers who have been coerced to sign on the dotted line on a flawed policy document, which is part of a failed and so-called Delhi governance model touted by AAP as a shield for their corrupt ways.
Rejecting any allegation of Kejriwal being arrested just ahead of polls, Jakhar said the first summons were served almost a year ago and if Kejriwal knew he is honest he must have surrendered. All his firewalls including Minister Satyender Jain, Deputy CM Sisodia and MP Sanjay Singh have been arrested for their dubious roles and have also failed to get any relief from Courts with strict observations against them, he added.
Replying to a media query, Jakhar said as a responsible party and leader, he was seeking probe into Punjab Policy so that loot of Punjab’s treasury and resources could be stopped and recouped.
Kejriwal did not even show any grace and decency towards the CM Chair and could have resigned before getting arrested, like shown by the former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren. In refusing to step down before being arrested, Kejriwal has now live with the infamy of being the first CM of Independent India to be arrested for his nefarious leadership of a liquor scam, Jakhar said.
