Ludhiana, May 14: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Wednesday said that the state government has taken action by nailing corrupt officers. This has stopped the undue harassment to the general public. It has also ended the inconvenience caused to them.The Chief Minister said that the trial of online registration of the land deeds is going on in the state and it will be soon implemented in Punjab.
Mann Warns Revenue Officers: No Tolerance for Corruption
The Chief Minister addressed the gathering here today. He criticized the Revenue officers. They used to harass the common man on the pretext of mass leaves or strikes. He said that the state government has not bowed before these corrupt officers. These officers are facing Police action for their sins. He said that the AAP government has zero tolerance against corruption. Ironically, by going on mass leave, these officers are seeking a license for corruptionBhagwant Singh Mann made it clear that he will not tolerate this blackmailing. He also stated that the government has already taken severe action against these corrupt and haughty officers.

The Chief Minister said that the trial of online registration of the land deeds is going on in the state. “The government will soon implement it in Punjab. He said that it will set a new benchmark in delivering public services.”. People will have to apply at Sewa Kendras. They will get the registries at their home. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this introduction will revolutionize land registration. It will use a first of its kind mechanism.
The Chief Minister expressed immense pride and satisfaction. He highlighted that more than 54000 jobs have been provided to the youth of the state.He said that they have given all the jobs completely on the basis of merit, without any corruption or nepotism. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is making the youth an active partner in socio economic development of Punjab.
