Two day remand of Sukhjinder Singh @ Sunny and Baljit Singh in sacrilege case

Today two accused namely Sukhjinder Singh @ Sunny and Baljit Singh were produced in the Court of Ms. Tarjani Ld. JMIC Faridkot by the SIT headed by SPS Parmar IPS IGP Border Range cum Chairman SIT. The accused were produced in the Court by Insp Dalbir Singh under the supervision of  Rajinder Singh Sohal AIG CI Pb. After hearing the arguments of Counsel for both the sides the Court sent both the accused to police remand for two days.

The learned Court also dismissed the application of the accused dated 21.05.2021 in which the accused had made false allegations regarding custodial torture and thereby extorting confession from them. While another application dated 29.05.2021 regarding alleged illegal custody of the above 2 accused has been adjourned to 2.06.2021.
