ARRESTED ACCUSED VISHAL WAS IN TOUCH WITH ARSH DALLA AND PLANNING TO ELIMINATE HIS RIVAL GANG MEMBER: DGP GAURAV YADAV
CHANDIGARH/FARIDKOT, May 21 ; There has been a major breakthrough. The Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF) Punjab and Faridkot Police have made significant progress. They are working hard to make Punjab a safe and secure state. This effort is obeying the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. They have arrested two associates of foreign-based Gangster Arsh Dala. Director General of Police (DGP) Punjab Gaurav Yadav said this here on Wednesday.

The police have identified those arrested.Vishal Singh is a resident of Sri Muktsar Sahib. Onkar Singh is a resident of village Gamewala in Ferozepur. Police teams have also recovered two .30 bore pistols along with six live cartridges from their possession.
DGP Gaurav Yadav said that preliminary investigation revealed that the accused Vishal Singh, who came out on bail recently, was actively planning to eliminate his rival gang member. The accused was continuously in touch with his foreign-based handlers. He was waiting for the directions to execute a sensational crime in Punjab, he said.
The DGP said that further investigation is underway. They aim to identify other associates. The investigation will establish backward and forward linkages in this case.
Faridkot Police Arrest Two associates of gangster with Weapons Near Dana Mandi Chownk
Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) AGTF Promod Ban shared operation details. He stated that the teams of the AGTF were led by DSP Rajan Parminder. They used human and intel-inputs to locate the accused persons in the jurisdiction of Faridkot. In a joint operation with Faridkot Police, they arrested both the accused near Dana Mandi chownk in Sadiq. They also recovered weapons from their possession.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Pragya Jain said that both the arrested persons have a criminal background. The police have registered cases against them for attempt to murder, cheating, and offenses under the Arms Act.
Police Station Sadiqin Faridkot registered case FIR no. 52 dated 21/5/2025 under section 25 of the Arms Act.
