Athletics trials to be held at Polo ground Patiala, Badminton trials at multipurpose stadium Sector-78, Mohali

 

Kabaddi trials at Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana

 

Chandigarh, March 11:

 

The Central Civil Services Cultural and Sports Board is organizing All India Civil Services Athletics (Men & Women) and Kabaddi (Men & Women) tournament 2021-22 at Tau Devi Lal Khel Stadium, Sector-38, Gurgaon (Haryana) from March 28 to March 30, 2022. Besides, the Badminton (Men and Women) tournament would be held from March 24 to March 30, 2022 at Tau Devi Lal Khel Stadium, Sector-3, Panchkula.

 

The selection trials for Punjab (Men and Women) players in Athletics discipline would be held at Polo ground in Patiala while Badminton trials would take place at multipurpose sports stadium in Sector-78, S.A.S. Nagar and Kabaddi (Men and Women) trials at Guru Nanak stadium in Ludhiana at 10 AM on March 15, 2022.

 

Disclosing this, Director (Sports) Parminder Pal Singh said that except the ones mentioned here under/those covered under conditionalities, the Government employees (Regular) of all the other departments can participate after obtaining NOC from their respective departments.

 

1. Uniform personnel in Defence Services/Para Military Organizations/Central Police Organization/Police/RPF/CISF/BSF/ITBP/NSG etc. b) Employees of Autonomous bodies/undertaking/Public Sector Banks even though administratively controlled by the Central Ministries.

 

2. Casual/ Daily wages workers.

 

3. Employees attached to offices on temporary duty.

 

4. A newly recruited employed who has put less than 6 months in regular establishment/service.

 

The players taking part in the tournament would themselves bear the expenses to be incurred on transportation, boarding and lodging apart from meals, added Director, Sports.
