SAD President Sukhbir Singh Badal announced a list of 7 senior leaders of party as candidates for the Parliament Elections 2024. Choosing the historic & pious occasion of ‘Khalsa Sirjana Divas’ as the most suited day to sound the poll bugle, he released the first list of candidates as below: 1.Dr Daljit Singh Cheema from Gurdaspur. 2.Prof Prem Singh Chandumajra from Sri Anandpur Sahib. 3.Sh NK Sharma from Patiala. 4.Shri Anil Joshi from Sri Amritsar Sahib. 5.S Bikramjit Singh Khalsa from Sri Fatehgarh Sahib. 6.S Rajwinder Singh (Grandson of late S Gurdev Singh Badal) from Faridkot. 7.S Iqbal Singh Jhoonda from Sangrur

- Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema – Selected to represent Gurdaspur.
- Prof. Prem Singh Chandumajra – Chosen as the candidate for Sri Anandpur Sahib.
- Shri N.K. Sharma – Nominated to contest from Patiala.
- Shri Anil Joshi – Named as the candidate for Sri Amritsar Sahib.
