Chandigarh, January 05, 2022: Shiromani Akali Dal (Sanyukt) President and Rajya Sabha Member,  Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has tested positive for COVID-19 and has gone into self-isolation at home.

Mr Dhindsa has appealed to all the leaders and workers who came in contact with him yesterday to get COVID-19 tested.

It is pertinent to mention here that Mr Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa was scheduled to attend the rally of Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi at Ferozepur today.

COVID-19 tests were made mandatory before joining the rally. As of now, Sukhdev Singh Dhindsa has been tested COVID-19 positive, hence he will not be able to join Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Punjab.
