Why Sukhbir Badal is scared of naming Modi and Khattar,
Chandigarh, February 22 : The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) launched a scathing attack on Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal) for doing petty politics amidst tragedy. AAP called Badal’s penchant for petty politics is very pitiable and unfortunate.
AAP Punjab chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang, in a statement shared on his X account, emphasized the unwavering commitment of the Aam Aadmi Party and our government to honoring the sacrifice of our jawans and kisans (soldiers and farmers). He contrasted this commitment with the track record of the Akali Dal, which he claimed consistently abandoned people and farmers in times of need.
Kang said that AAP ministers and MLAs are actively supporting farmers on the ground. He emphasized that Sukhbir Badal should also join the battleground rather than merely giving sermons on his social media. Moreover, Kang stated that the AAP government will fulfill its moral, social, and financial obligations to Shubhkaran’s (martyred farmer) family.
Furthermore, Kang questioned why Sukhbir Badal is hesitant to name Modi and Khattar. He questioned Sukhbir’s silence on the atrocities committed by the BJP government of the centre and Haryana.
He said that Sukhbir Badal must muster the courage to condemn the BJP government and their attitude towards our farmers.
