Sub division Hospital Tapa has bagged first place in district in Kayakalp Award for the third time under Swachh Bharat Muhim. With secured 82.5 marks the hospital has secured 9th place in state.
Also the Primary Health Center Tallewal has secured first place in state from amongst primary health centers for the fourth time with a score of 90 marks. Similarly, Primary Health Center Sehna has secured 81 marks and secured second place in district and 9th place in the state.
Civil Surgeon Barnala Dr Jasvir Singh Aulakh said that checking was conducted in two phases under the Swachhta Kayakalp contest. He added that sub division hospital Tapa and two primary health centers working under it have secured appreciable positions in the state and brought laurels to the district.
He added that Health and Family Welfare Minister, Punjab Mr Balbir Singh Sidhu is getting best of the health facilities, especially for the covid patients. Dr Aulakh congratulated the staff of SDH Tapa, PHC Tallewal and PHC Sehna for their achievement.
Block Extension Educator Gautam Rishi said that of the four health centers under block Tapa, the SDH Tapa has secured positions thrice, PHC Tallewal has secured positions four times, PHC Sehna has secured positions twice and Community Health Center Bhadaur has secured position once in Kayakalp awards.
