Chandigarh, December 25 Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan today attended a solemn religious function. It was organized at Ekta Sthal, Raj Ghat, New Delhi. The function was to mark the 30th death anniversary of Giani Zail Singh, the former President of India. Giani Zail Singh served as President from 1982 to 1987 and as Union Home Minister from 1980 to 1982. He also served Punjab as the Chief Minister from 1972 to 1977.
