Continuing in its march to transform girls of Punjab into ‘Women of Substance’, one more Lady Cadet of Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute (AFPI) for Girls, SAS Nagar (Mohali) has been selected for pre-commission training at the premier Indian Air Force Academy, Dundigal. The training for the course will commence at the academy from January 2024 onwards.
The selected Lady Cadet Arshdeep Kaur hails from Khamano in district Fatehgarh Sahib and her father Mr. Daljinder Pal Singh runs a private business.
Congratulating the daughter of Punjab for her selection in the prestigious Air Force Academy, Punjab Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Minister Mr Aman Arora reiterated the commitment of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann led Punjab Government to enable girls from the state to become commissioned officers in the Armed Forces, while concurrently pursuing their education.
