In a recent patrol operation conducted in Sector-31, the vigilant police team, under the watchful supervision of SHO Ram Ratn Sharma, successfully apprehended a bootlegger involved in the illicit sale of liquor, thereby effectively curbing an illegal activity that poses a threat to public safety. He was found in possession of 12 bottles of illicit liquor, resulting in charges under the Excise Act 61-1-14. The police released him on bail after due legal proceedings.
