Mega PTM: 20+ Lakh Parents Show Overwhelming Support
Parents Applaud Education Revolution by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann's Punjab Government

Today’s PTM show the success of the Punjab government’s initiative, drawing participation from more than 20 lakh parents. School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains expressed satisfaction with the improving education standards under CM Bhagwant Singh Mann’s leadership, noting valuable suggestions received during the meeting.
The Mega Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) witnessed an incredible turnout, with over 20 lakh parents expressing overwhelming support. This event, organized at the invitation of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, garnered record-breaking attendance in 19,109 schools across the state. Most parents attended the PTMs at primary and upper primary schools before 10 am.
Schools were adorned with special decorations and selfie points, creating memorable moments for students and proud parents. Amidst satisfaction over their children’s academic performance, parents praised the Punjab Government’s concerted efforts to elevate the standards of government schools.
Teachers highlighted initiatives such as Mission Saksham, Mission 100%, student attendance policies, and new admissions. Parents, in turn, expressed gratitude for the business blaster scheme, campus manager deployment, and enhanced security measures initiated by the Punjab government.
During the Mega PTM, Show schools were beautifully decorated, and NCC cadets welcomed parents in their uniforms. An exhibition showcased students’ art products, while many schools entertained teachers and parents with tunes from student bands.
Parents appreciated the library langar, expressing gratitude for their children’s attachment to general knowledge and literature books, alongside school books. Overall, the Mega PTM marked a successful occasion, fostering positive interactions between parents, teachers, and students.”
