Seminar on Safety in Natural Gas Ecosystem in Chandigarh

Dr. SK Singh ( Dy.CCOE, IPESS) PESO, Chandigarh addressed 05 CGD companies operating in Punjab, Torrent Gas Limited, Think Gas, Gujarat Gas Limited, IOAGPL, IRM Energy during the seminar on “Safety in Natural Gas Ecosystem” at Chandigarh.

This seminar was meticulously designed to delve into the intricacies of the best practices governing the Natural Gas Eco System, elaborate on the stringent standards outlined by PESO (Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation), and meticulously analyse the regulatory framework aimed at adeptly handling Natural Gas incidents. Its overarching goal was to impart comprehensive knowledge and insights to all stakeholders vested in the enhancement and fortification of the Natural Gas Ecosystem within the CGD (City Gas Distribution) industry, thereby fostering an environment of improved safety and efficiency.

Dr. SK Singh interacted with all the members present in the seminar in an engaging manner, followed by a Q&A session.

Also Sh. S.K. Singh addresses the members with various ISO standards, Safety guidelines, Gas Cylinder Rules 2016, emphasis on CNG Cylinder hydrotesting, Safe operating procedures, Steel pipeline infrastructure in the CGD industry.
