Chandigarh, Feb 28 ; The life sentence given to Congress leader Sajjan Kumar highlights Bharatiya Janta Party’s commitment. They aim to bring justice to their Sikh brethren from the 1984 genocide. From the first day the incidence was reported, BJP has shown commitment. They continue to guarantee that Sajjan Kumar gets a death sentence. This is for the heinous crime he has committed.
BJP Demands Death Sentence for Sajjan Kumar
The BJP National Spokesperson RP Singh addressed the media today in Chandigarh. This took place at the sector 37 BJP office. State general secretary Jagmohan Raju and state media head Vineet Joshi flanked him.
He added that the verdict was possible only because of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s consistent efforts. The same goes for Home Minister Amit Shah. The verdict has come as major breather for the Sikh community.
He said that his party will appeal to the center government. They intend that through CBI an appeal be made to the higher court. The goal is to give a death sentence to Sajjan Kumar.
He said that Sajjan Kumar first killed a son in front of his father. Then, he killed the father as well.
Blames Congress for Shielding Accused
Demanding death sentence for Sajjan Kumar, he said Congress’s wrong and shady policies have delayed justice to the Sikh community.He added that the Congress leaders tried to shield the accused. The Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit left no stone unturned to save the culprits.
He accused the then Home Minister PV Narsimha Rao of controlling the genocide under the Prime Minister’s Office’s directions.

RP Singh said that after Sajjan Kumar, it was now turn of Jagdish Tytler and Kamalnath. He added that both these leaders will now face imprisonment. ‘
RP Singh said he made his daughter a lawyer to ensure she continues the fight for justice and brings the guilty to the gallows.
He alleged that authorities pushed children from Sikh riot-affected areas into drug addiction to prevent them from pursuing justice.
