Republic Day tableau : Sunil Jakhar’s lies exposed
AAP challenges Sunil Jakhar ,show the concept of the tableau he claimed has the pictures of Bhagwant Mann and Kejriwal
Chandigarh, 31 December : On the issue of Republic Day tableau, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has once again assailed Punjab BJP chief Sunil Jakhar and termed his statement on the tableau as false.
On Sunday, Aam Aadmi Party Punjab’s chief spokesperson Malvinder Singh Kang said that after the clarification from the Defense Ministry on the Republic Day tableau issue, Sunil Jakar’s lie has been exposed.
Kang said that now Sunil Jakhar should either show the concept of the tableau of Punjab government he claimed has the pictures of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal, or he should apologize to the people of Punjab for his lies.
Kang said that with his lies, Sunil Jakhar has insulted the martyrs of Punjab Shaheed-e-Azam Bhagat Singh, Lala Lajpat Rai, Sardar Udham Singh and Kartar Singh Sarabha and Mai Bhago, the symbol of women empowerment.
In a strong rebuke, Kang emphasized that Sunil Jakhar’s deceitful actions not only constitute an affront to the memory of the martyrs but also deeply wound the sentiments of the people of Punjab. Kang urged Jakhar to promptly issue a public apology to the citizens of Punjab, acknowledging the gravity of his actions and the impact they have had on the collective emotions of the community
