Chandigarh/Sri Muktsar Sahab, January 14: Punjab Vidhan Sabha Speaker was accompanied by Cabinet Ministers. They paid obeisance at Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib. This happened today on the occasion of Mela Maghi.
During the Mela Maghi a sea of humanity was seen all over the roads leading to the Gurudwara. The ministers who paid obeisance included Speaker Vidhan Sabha S. Kultar Sandhwan. New and Renewable Energy Sources Minister Mr. Aman Arora attended. Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Gurmeet Singh Khudian was also present. Social Security, Woman and Child Development and Social Justice Minister Dr. Baljeet Kaur participated. Sangrur MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer joined them. They all prayed for the welfare of people at Gurudwara Tutti Gandi Sahib.
“Langar has been serving devotees 24×7 since yesterday at all roads leading to the Gurudwara. Furthermore, on this special day, Harpal Kaur, the mother of Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann, also took the opportunity to offer prayers at the Gurudwara.”
The police took adequate security measures for smooth traffic on all the roads. People from all walks of life came from far-off places to pay obeisance. A special horse fair was organised at Ghora Mandi. Sellers brought horses, different animals, birds, and many kinds of dog breeds.
