NEW DELHI, July 13; The people of Punjab have stamped their unwavering faith in the Bhagwant Mann government by giving the Aam Aadmi Party a record victory in the by-election held on the Jalandhar West assembly seat. Congratulating all the workers of “AAP” on the victory, senior AAP leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh said that our candidate Mohinder Bhagat has won by nearly 38,000 votes.

This victory has given the message that whoever betrays the Aam Aadmi Party, his politics will end. AAP workers had made Sheetal Angural win with hard work, but he betrayed and went to the BJP and now he had to face a crushing defeat.

Sanjay Singh said Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann fought the election by campaigning day and night with all his ministers, MLAs and workers. The beauty of the Aam Aadmi Party’s organization is that everyone works together for their goal. The result of the Lok Sabha elections was not as per our expectations, but the by-election of Jalandhar West in Punjab proved that the people of Punjab have complete faith and trust in the state government.

Sanjay Singh noted that the Aam Aadmi Party’s workers are greatly encouraged by receiving divine blessings. History has shown that those who betrayed the party and joined the BJP saw their political careers come to an end. We considered him as our younger brother and tried to convince him a lot, but he went to the BJP and lost the Lok Sabha elections. Apart from this, Jalandhar West MLA Sheetal also won due to the hard work of the Aam Aadmi Party workers. But Sheetal left the AAP and went to the BJP. Due to this, Jalandhar West by-election was held, and AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat won by 38,000 votes.

Dr. Sandeep Pathak remarked on leaders leaving the Aam Aadmi Party for money or power, emphasizing that this victory sends a clear message against such actions. Those who won elections in Jalandhar on the AAP symbol subsequently joined the BJP. I have my sympathies for both of them. They insulted the votes of the people. The public never forgives the person who insults the majority and betrays their majority. The public never gives love or blessings to such a person again. I want to tell those who go from one party to another for petty gains that you should not ruin your political career, he added.

Dr Sandeep Pathak further said that those who are leaving the party due to fear of agencies, money, power or any other situation should stick to their conviction. A person is tested in trouble. People reject those who run away in times of crisis. We have to stand like a rock in front of the BJP. We have to fight. “Kejriwal ji has brought down their numbers from 400 to 240 by staying in jail. If he is kept in jail for more days, then it is clear that it will not take long for BJP to come to 40 seats.

The BJP should embrace the people’s mandate and prioritize national interests, abandoning hooliganism and petty politics. Throughout history, any party resorting to hatred and dictatorship has not endured. There’s still time for the BJP to heed this lesson and cease divisive tactics. However, initially, leaders like Advani and Vajpayee spoke of Swaraj; yet, governance has now descended into constant government formations and manipulation .  Leading a nation like India demands integrity and vision, not such antics. It’s imperative they change their approach; this is about the nation’s future, not political wins or losses.

Dr. Sandeep Pathak emphasized that every court has clarified that there is no liquor scam in Delhi involving Arvind Kejriwal. Authorities are unlawfully detaining Arvind Kejriwal in jail and preventing his release despite his acquittal in all cases and grant of bail.  “Do you think that you will win the election by forcibly keeping Arvind Kejriwal inside the jail? Do you think that you will make our leaders join your party based on money, power and threats? This will never happen. The public will never tolerate all these things. The public gives an answer at the right time,” he said.

The senior AAP leader highlighted INDIA alliance’s stunning victory in the by-elections across 13 assembly seats, including Jalandhar. The BJP has suffered a bad defeat in the by-election. This by-election has also proved that you cannot win elections based on hooliganism, bullying and dictatorship.
