PEOPLE GIVES THUMBS UP TO HEALTH REVOLUTION IN FORM OF AAM AADMI CLINICS

Profusely thank Punjab government for opening 76 new Aam Aadmi Clinics in the state

Chandigarh, August 14-

With the Punjab government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann dedicating 76 new Aam Aadmi Clinics in the state on Monday to mark the 76th Independence Day, the people of Punjab have profusely welcomed this historic and pro-people move of the government.

Welcoming this move the people said that this step will make healthcare more accessible to the general public across the state. By opening 76 new Aam Aadmi Clinics to the people, now a total of 659 of these Centre are operational at the doorsteps of the people, providing top-class treatment to them free of cost. While lauding the work of the Aam Aadmi Clinics, residents said that it shows the pure intent of the Punjab government led by CM Bhagwant Singh Mann that it has been working indefatigably to transform the health system and serve the people in the true spirits.

Harinder Kaur of Rose Park Colony, Jalandhar said that the residents of Rose Park are thankful to the Punjab government for opening the Aam Aadmi Clinics opened by the Punjab government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Now they don’t have to travel miles for health facilities, medicine, and tests. It is a historic and indispensable gift given by the government to the area residents on the occasion of Independence Day.

Heaping praise on the Mann Government, Jagdish Kumar Jaggi a resident of Arya Nagar, Jalandhar said that the Aam Aadmi clinic opened at Burlton Park, which is proving to be a boon for those who were deprived of health services due to expensive treatment till now. The centre provides free treatment and medicines to people. He said that the people of the locality are grateful to the Punjab government for this initiative.

Village Raowali in Jalandhar said that in the absence of any hospital or doctor in his village, residents have to visit big hospitals in the city. They would also not get medicines free of cost and therefore had to spend for these and other facilities. But now the Aam Aadmi clinic has opened here and this will prove a blessing for people like him.

Darshan Singh of Raowali village, Jalandhar thanked the Punjab government and said the efforts of the village panchayat bore fruit which toiled hard to open a clinic near people’s doorsteps. The village has never got any bigger facility than this before. We will get free tests, medicines for which we thank the Mann government.

Deepak Sharma, a resident of Kila Mohalla, Ludhiana welcomed the decision of opening new Aam Aadmi Clinics in the district. He said that it would provide healthcare services to people of our locality at doorsteps. He said that the clinic in Kila Mohalla is a much-needed step taken by the government and thanked Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for this initiative.

Another resident, Ritu Verma from Ludhiana District also lauded the efforts of the Punjab Government. She said that it would further strengthen healthcare services in the district as new clinics would cater to the healthcare needs of thousands of people with free-of-cost treatment facilities. She said that people who can not afford to pay the fees of private doctors can now avail of free-of-cost treatment here.

Welcoming the initiative, Surajpal Singh from Ludhiana District said that earlier people had to travel to district hospital for healthcare services but now they can avail the benefit of these services at their colony. It would immensely benefit the people of our locality as most of the population belonged below the poverty line.

Harjinder Singh from Ludhiana also thanked Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for this initiative. He said that this move would bring the benefit of free-of-cost treatment facilities to doorsteps. Earlier, people had to visit private doctors by paying heavy fees while they can avail of the quality treatment from this clinic free of cost.

Thanking the government for dedicating more clinics, Amar Singh, a resident of Kot Khalsa, Amritsar said that these centers are a boon for people like him, who will get free and around-the-clock treatment now. The Punjab government has brought the health revolution in Punjab by opening the Aam Aadmi Clinics. He said that the government has opened five new Mohalla Clinics in Amritsar today, which will also provide a lot of relief to the people.

Another resident, Balwinder Singh, a resident of Dream City Jhabal Road, Amritsar said that these Aam Aadmi Clinics are a boon for the common people and by opening five more new Mohalla Clinics in Amritsar district, the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has once again made it clear that his government has been working assiduously to bring health revolution and provide top-class free treatment to people of Punjab.

Surjit Singh, a resident of Kot Mit Singh Road, Amritsar said that he is extremely grateful to Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, who has given great relief to the common people by opening 5 more Mohalla Clinics in the district and allowing common people to get all the facilities for free treatment near their houses.

Gurmeet Singh, a resident of Kot Khalsa, Near Titu Halwai, Amritsar said that fulfilling its promise to reform the health system, the Punjab government has opened five Mohalla clinics and he is thankful to the Government for providing free healthcare facilities to the people near their homes.

Baljit Singh, a resident of Ranjit Pura, Amritsar said that the opening of new Aam Aadmi Clinics on the occasion of Independence Day is a very commendable initiative of the government towards the people. All people are getting free health facilities from these clinics and no government has taken such an initiative so far.
