IN WHICH CAPACITY YOU ARE ISSUING HELPLINE NUMBERS OF SGPC: CM ASKS SUKHBIR

SAYS IT HAS VINDICATED THEIR STAND THAT ONE FAMILY IS CONTROLLING THE SGPC

UNFORTUNATE THAT THE ORGANISATION THAT HAD TAKEN BIRTH AFTER COUNTLESS SACRIFICES IS TODAY A PUPPET IN HANDS OF THESE LEADERS

Chandigarh, July 17:

Slamming the leader of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sukhbir Singh Badal for issuing the helpline numbers of Shiromani Gurdwara Prabhandak Committee (SGPC), the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann dared the former Deputy Chief Minister to explain that who gave him the authority to release these numbers.

In a statement issued here today, the Chief Minister said that it is shameful that the leader of Shiromani Akali Dal is giving the details of these numbers to the public instead of authorised representatives of the SGPC. He said that it is strange that the numbers have not been yet made public by the SGPC officials but Sukhbir is issuing it on his own channel. Bhagwant Mann said that in which capacity Sukhbir Badal is issuing these numbers and seeking help from people whereas still the numbers are not in public domain.

The Chief Minister said that this has vindicated their stand that one family is controlling the SGPC and that too for its vested interests. Bhagwant Mann said that what can be more unfortunate than this, that the organisation that had taken birth after countless sacrifices is today a puppet in the hands of these leaders. Bhagwant Mann said that these people have always misused the SGPC for their own vested political interests.

The Chief Minister said that these leaders can no longer befool the common man of the state and they are well aware of the dubious character of these leaders. He said that the people had already ousted these power hungry politicians and formed the Aam Aadmi Party government in the state with a thumping majority. Bhagwant Mann said that the masses will never forgive these leaders for their sins against the state and its people.
