PCC President Navjot Singh Sidhu had extensive deliberations and brainstorming session with Dalit leadership of Punjab, in a meeting of Cabinet Ministers and MLAs from Scheduled Caste Community organised by Working President Sukhwinder Singh Danny at Punjab Congress Bhawan in Chandigarh.

In the 3 hour long meeting with the PCC President, 20 Ministers/ MLAs spoke in detail about each & every program and policy needed for the welfare of the Scheduled Caste community of Punjab.

A detailed Plan of action to take up Dalit issues for redressal by the State Government was formed keeping in view every demand and grievance of the community. PCC President reiterated Party’s commitment to fulfil the 18 Point Agenda and do even more than what is promised for the Dalit Community at the earliest possible.

The Meeting was followed by PCC President Navjot Singh Sidhu’s 2 hour long meeting with Congress Workers from every Block of District Nawashahr along with Working Presidents Sangat Singh Gilzian, Kuljit Singh Nagra, MLA Angad Saini, MLA Darshanlal Mangupur and local leadership.
