PCC President Navjot Singh Sidhu holds over two-hour long deliberations with Backward Caste leadership of Punjab including 9 MLAs, Office-bearers and members of OBC Welfare Cell of Punjab Congress along with prominent members of Backward Caste Community from every district of Punjab, organised by Working President Sangat Singh Gilzian with assistance of Chairman Punjab Congress OBC Welfare Cell Gurinder Singh Billa.

In detailed discussions and consultations, every ground-level problem faced by the community  was carefully considered to understand bottlenecks in welfare of the Backward Caste Community of Punjab. Many leaders voiced lack of representation in Government of Backward Caste. Issues of reservations and labour welfare were especially stressed upon by many leaders.
