मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत सिंह मान के निर्देशानुसार पंजाब को एक सुरक्षित राज्य बनाने के लिए चलाई जा रही व्यापक मुहिम के तहत, जालंधर कमिश्नरेट पुलिस ने केंद्रीय एजेंसियों और दिल्ली पुलिस के सहयोग से उत्तर प्रदेश (यू.पी.) निवासी सैदुल अमीन को, जो कि वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता मनोरंजन कालिया के आवास पर ग्रेनेड हमले का मुख्य आरोपी था, सफलतापूर्वक गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। यह जानकारी आज यहां पंजाब के पुलिस महानिदेशक (डीजीपी) गौरव यादव ने दी।
जानकारी के अनुसार, बीती 7 अप्रैल की रात को सेंट्रल टाउन, जालंधर स्थित वरिष्ठ भाजपा नेता मनोरंजन कालिया के आवास पर धमाका हुआ था। प्रारंभिक जांच से पता चला है कि पाकिस्तान स्थित आईएसआई द्वारा पंजाब में साम्प्रदायिक सौहार्द बिगाड़ने की बड़ी साजिश रची गई थी।
यह सफलता इस मामले में शामिल दो स्थानीय साथियों सतीश उर्फ काका उर्फ लक्की निवासी भार्गव कैंप, जालंधर और हैरी निवासी गढ़ा रोड, जालंधर—जिन्होंने आरोपी सैदुल अमीन को लॉजिस्टिक सहायता प्रदान की थी—की गिरफ्तारी के बाद सामने आई है। इस ग्रेनेड हमले की साजिश गैंगस्टर लॉरेंस बिश्नोई के करीबी सहयोगी जीशान अख्तर और पाकिस्तान स्थित आईएसआई-प्रायोजित गैंगस्टर शहज़ाद भट्टी द्वारा रची गई थी, जबकि इस मामले में पाकिस्तान स्थित बब्बर खालसा इंटरनेशनल (बीकेआई) की भूमिका की भी जांच की जा रही है।
डीजीपी गौरव यादव ने जालंधर में पुलिस कमिश्नर (सीपी) धनप्रीत कौर के साथ एक प्रेस कॉन्फ्रेंस को संबोधित करते हुए बताया कि आरोपी सैदुल अमीन, जो यूपी के अमरोहा का रहने वाला है, को एक बहु-राज्य छापेमारी के बाद दिल्ली से गिरफ्तार किया गया। उन्होंने कहा, “यह गिरफ्तारी पंजाब पुलिस, केंद्रीय एजेंसियों और दिल्ली पुलिस के बीच मजबूत तालमेल का प्रमाण है, जो आतंकवादी नेटवर्कों को समाप्त करने की दिशा में किया गया प्रयास है।”
डीजीपी ने कहा कि मौजूदा जांच के दौरान ग्रेनेड हमले को अंजाम देने वालों के वित्तीय संबंधों का भी खुलासा हुआ है, जिसमें हरियाणा निवासी अभियुक्त अभिजोत, जिसे हरियाणा पुलिस ने शुक्रवार को कुरुक्षेत्र में मुठभेड़ के बाद गिरफ्तार किया था, की भूमिका भी सामने आई है। उन्होंने बताया कि जालंधर कमिश्नरेट पुलिस उसे आगे की जांच के लिए प्रोडक्शन वारंट पर लाएगी।
डीजीपी गौरव यादव ने कहा कि इस हमले से जुड़े हैंडलरों, वित्तीय समर्थकों और संभावित विदेशी कनेक्शनों का पर्दाफाश करने के लिए जांच जारी है।
इस संबंध में पहले ही एफआईआर नंबर 27, दिनांक 8/4/2025 को भारतीय न्याय संहिता की धारा 109, 324(3) और 61(2) एवं विस्फोटक पदार्थ अधिनियम की धारा 3, 4 और 5 के तहत जालंधर के थाना डिवीजन नंबर 3 में दर्ज की जा चुकी है।
