Legal action initiated against 2 persons for appearing in scrutiny process of 5994 ETT on forgery: Harjot Singh Bains

Punjab Education Department has initiated legal action against two persons who were trying to get jobs through forgery during the security process of documents for 5994 ETT cadre.
Divulging information in this regard, Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains said that during the scrutiny for the recruitment of 5994 ETT cadre, fingerprints and photograph of Gurpreet Singh s/o Ranjit Singh of village Chotian, district Mansa not matched with the fingerprints and photo taken during the written examination.
The Cabinet Minister said that similarly, Narinderpal Singh s/o Gurdayal Singh of village Fattuwala was caught during the biometric process. He was attending the scrutiny process in place of Sandeep Kumar s/o Subhash of village Haji Betu, Post office Panje Ke Utar (district Fazilka), with fake Aadhaar card and fake voter ID card. In this case department had also written to police department to initiate legal process.
In both the cases, the department has written to the police to initiate legal action against them, said the Education Minister, adding that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led government is committed to provide a transparent and corruption-free system to the people of Punjab.
