
Laljit Bhullar distributes relief materials to flood-affected families of Harike Pattan and Jalloke
Chandigarh, September 2: Punjab Jail and Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar today distributed relief materials to the people of flood-affected areas and village Jalloke in Patti assembly constituency of Tarn Taran district.
He assured compensation for the grave damage caused by the river water, distributed relief materials like food kits, water, and ration to needy people, and arranged fodder, straw, and feed for animals.
On this occasion, Bhullar told the people that there is a possibility of further increase in river water. This is due to the latest rainfall situation. The district administration of Tarn Taran is making necessary arrangements for the affected people in the district. He said that the administration is taking steps to transport people. These efforts help move them to camps set up in Guru Ghars of different villages.
Meanwhile, the Cabinet Minister said that in these difficult circumstances due to natural disasters, we should all help the flood victims. We should come together like a family. He said that the Punjab government and the district administration are already doing relief work. Additionally, social service organizations are providing support to the people of the affected areas.
Cabinet Minister Bhullar said that the Punjab government is led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The government stands with the affected people of the state. They support them in every difficulty. Bhullar He said that the damage caused by the floods will be fully compensated. He stated that the government and administration are helping the affected people. Social organizations and common people are also providing large-scale help.
He appealed that at this time everyone should rise above party politics and come together to help the needy people. “This is not a time for politics, but for humanity. When people are in trouble, it is our duty to stand with them and encourage them.”
