Immediately book and arrest MLA Joginderpal for assaulting SC youth : SAD

Shocking to see conduct of MLA towards youth who was demanding his right : Pawan Tinu

Chandigarh, October 20: The Shiromani Akali Dal today strongly condemned the conduct of Congress MLA Joginderpal who attacked and thrashed a scheduled caste youth who was demanding his right of job as per Congress party’s promise of ghar ghar naukri.

SAD Spokesman Pawan Tinu said a criminal case should be registered against the Congress legislator and he should be arrested immediately.
Tinu  said such a dastardly attack on a youth who was simply asking for his right was not tolerable in a democratic society. “Chief minister Charanjit Channi should prove he is ready to secure the interests of the scheduled caste community by ordering the arrest of Mr Joginderpal immediately. If he does not do this the SAD cadre will gherao Joginderpal and take him to task for insulting the SC youth”. He said this was necessary to send out a clear signal that atrocities against youth would not be tolerated at any cost”.

The SAD leader said the Congress party should fulfil the promises made to the youth instead of attacking them for asking for their rights. “ The chief minister should come out with a time frame to implement all the promises made to the youth before the imposition of the code of conduct in the State”
