Chandigarh, May 10: update punjab news ; Punjab Chief Electoral Commissioner Sibin C informed that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and Election Commissioners Dr. Sukhbir Singh Sandhu & Dr. Vivek Joshi had an interaction with Communist Party of India (marxist) led by its General Secretary, M. A. Baby at Nirvachan Sadan today. The ECI is continuing its interactions by meeting the Presidents of various National and State Political Parties.

The government will carry out this action in accordance with the existing legal framework, actively engaging and collaborating with all relevant stakeholders—including local authorities, legal experts, and community representatives—to ensure transparency, compliance, and collective participation in the process.

Earlier, officials conducted a total of 4,719 all-party meetings. CEOs held 40 of these meetings, DEOs conducted 800, and EROs organized 3,879. These meetings engaged over 28,000 representatives of various;Political Party.
