Since the new hit-and-run law was recently established by the Indian government, truck operators are protesting it all over the country because they believe it is unfair to them. Truck drivers started a nationwide strike on January 1, 2024, by obstructing traffic. Essential services have been disrupted as a result, with emergency ambulances and daily wage workers now swarming gas stations to obtain gasoline and fuel. Health services are being badly impacted by the gasoline scarcity, which is also negatively harming agriculture and related companies.
