DGP Organizes Virtual Meeting for Fair Lok Sabha Elections
In a proactive move aimed at ensuring the integrity of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections, Director General of Police, Punjab, Gaurav Yadav, orchestrated a comprehensive virtual meeting today. The gathering saw the participation of senior police officials, including Range ADGs/IGs/DIGs, CP, SSPs, and all SHOs from across the state, with a primary focus on reviewing preventive measures and enforcing the guidelines established by the Election Commission of India.
Under the firm directive to prioritise professionalism, all police officers received instructions to uphold the highest standards of policing and ensure strict compliance with election guidelines. The meeting emphasised the commitment of Punjab Police to safeguarding the democratic process, reaffirming their preparedness to facilitate free, fair, and transparent elections in the state.
