Chandigarh, March 2- Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann urged the youth to actively participate in the socio-economic development of
the state through their new ideas and innovations. Speaking at TIE CON, he emphasized his advocacy for new ideas and innovations, stressing the importance of empowering the common man. Mann highlighted the government’s initiative, the Business Blaster scheme in government schools, aimed at enhancing entrepreneurial skills among students.
CM Stresses Youth Career Guidance
He emphasised the need to provide career guidance to the youth, thereby empowering them significantly. Additionally, the Chief Minister highlighted the state government’s concerted efforts for the welfare of the state’s youth. Furthermore, he emphasized the government’s focus on ensuring that youth become job givers rather than job seekers. Bhagwant Singh Mann emphasized that this is the need of the hour to carve out a progressive and prosperous Punjab.
The Chief Minister stated that the Punjab government has established Schools of Eminence in the state, ushering in an era of revolution. He mentioned that these hi-tech schools equip the youth with ultra-modern facilities to excel in every field of life. Bhagwant Singh Mann highlighted that these state-of-the-art schools act as a catalyst in providing quality education to the students.

The Chief Minister announced a historic decision: changing the working of government offices to save 55 megawatts of power. He highlighted how this initiative facilitated the common man, preventing them from enduring the scorching heat while getting their work done. Furthermore, Bhagwant Singh Mann emphasized its benefits for farmers, providing uninterrupted power and streamlining traffic movement. Additionally, the Chief Minister further elaborated on the state government’s innovative measures.. These include the introduction of unique color-coded stamp papers, aiming to usher in a new era of Industrial Revolution in Punjab. He underscored that Punjab is the first state to introduce green-colored stamp papers, facilitating entrepreneurs in setting up their units and giving a much-needed boost to industrial growth.
