CM to give major bonanza of development projects to residents of Sangrur today

 

 

Projects worth Rs 869 crore to be inaugurated/ kicked off during Vikas Rally in Sangrur

Chandigarh/Sangrur, March 8-

 

In a major bonanza for the residents of Sangrur district, the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann will unveil development projects worth Rs 869 crores in the district.

 

The Chief Minister who will hold Vikas Kranti rally in Sangrur district will dedicate/ inaugurate and launch the foundation stone of these projects to facilitate people. He will inaugurate/ dedicate these projects to the people on Saturday to give fillip to the development of the district. Bhagwant Singh Mann’s endeavour is aimed at giving a major push to the overall development of the district thereby ensuring prosperity of the people.

 

The Chief Minister will also address the gathering during a rally at Cheema village and apprise the people about various development projects. The key projects to be inaugurated by Bhagwant Singh Mann include 80 bedded mother child hospital at Dhuri, 30 bedded Community Health centre at Kauhrian and 30 bedded Rural hospital at Cheema. These projects will act as a catalyst to impart quality healthcare services to the people of Sangrur district.

 

Meanwhile, reiterating the firm commitment of the state government to ensure the welfare of every section of society, the Chief Minister said that no stone is being left unturned for this noble cause. He said that every single penny from state exchequer is being spent judiciously for the progress of the state and prosperity of its people. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state is witnessing a new era of unprecedented development and progress in every arena adding that in last two years dawn of new era has taken place in the state.
