CM orders to give major push to Development in Doaba and Majha Regions

Asserts that holistic development of  cities in these regions will be ensured by all means  

 Jalandhar, July 25: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has ordered a major push to accelerate development works in the Doaba and Majha regions of the state. The Chief Minister held meeting with Deputy Commissioners  of Jalandhar, Hoshiarpur, Kapurthala,  SBS Nagar, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Amritsar and Taran Taran to review the development projects. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that development works will receive ample funding and that the projects will be completed on time.

CM eviewed the Amritsar and Jalandhar Smart City project

During the meeting, the Chief Minister also reviewed the Amritsar and Jalandhar Smart City projects. Furthermore, he asked the officers to expedite the work, thereby giving a facelift to these cities. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the state government’s priority is to resolve people’s day-to-day office work promptly, ensuring hassle-free services. To achieve this, Bhagwant Singh Mann announced that they are establishing CM Windows at the district level. Administrative officials and concerned MLAs will actively help resolve issues there. Mann added that they will resolve district-level issues on the spot, while forwarding other issues to the relevant departments.

Doaba and Majha : listen public grievances and ordered swift action

Fulfilling his election promise, CM spent two days  in city to listen public grievances and ordered swift action to address complaints. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this citizen centric initiative aims to save time, energy, and resources for the people. Chief Minister declared Jalandhar as the second capital of the state, known as the Media Capital, and announced that he will visit twice a week.
