CM Orchestrates Historic Job Allocation: 2487 Government Job Letters Granted

SAYS THAT DUE TO MISSION ROZGAR OF STATE GOVERNMENT JOB, REVERSE MIGRATION HAS STARTED IN PUNJAB

Sangrur, March 7: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Thursday handed over Government job letters to 2487 youth in the biggest ever such function thereby ensuring government jobs to around 43000 youth in nearly the last two years.

At a function to distribute job letters to 2487 youth, the Chief Minister addressed the gathering and announced the recruitment of 1750 youth in the Home department, 205 in Social Security Women and Child Development, 39 in Revenue, 60 in the Excise department, 421 in the Local Government department, four in Cooperation, and eight in the Technical Education department. He emphasized that a government job signifies a qualitative change in the lifestyle of the entire family. Bhagwant Singh Mann highlighted that his government assumed office on March 16, 2022, initiating a campaign to provide government jobs to the youth.He emphasised that the awarding of jobs is now solely based on merit, eliminating the previous practices of acquiring them through corruption or nepotism.

CMPromotes Reverse Migration and Youth Empowerment

The Chief Minister said that this has helped in shunning the negativity in minds of youth due to which they have now shelved the idea of going abroad and the process of reverse migration has started in Punjab. “Why,” he asked, “didn’t we provide around 43,000 jobs in the last 75 years for the well-being of the youth, when we could have accomplished it in just two years? Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that he is campaigning to rectify the system and ensure that youth actively participate in the state’s growth.”

Punjab Government’s Efficient Recruitment Process Fills Vacancies

The Chief Minister said that the state government fills all the posts as soon as they are vacant in the department. Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that the government of Punjab has adopted a foolproof mechanism for the entire recruitment process. As a result, no court has challenged a single appointment out of nearly 43,000. Mann expressed pride in granting government jobs to the youth solely on merit.

CM Urges New Recruits: Serve People with Justice, Not Harassment

The Chief Minister urged the new recruits to judiciously utilize their positions for the welfare of the people and to ensure justice for them rather than harassing them.Bhagwant Singh Mann reiterated his government’s firm commitment to ensure the welfare of the people, stating that the state government dedicates stupendous efforts for their well-being. He emphasized that they will leave no stone unturned for this noble cause.”

State Gov’t to Provide Competition Books in Libraries for Youth

The Chief Minister announced that the state government is furnishing books necessary for competitions in all libraries constructed across the state to offer a platform for youth to study effectively. He emphasized that the initiative aims to empower youth with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in competitive exams.

Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is the need of the hour so that youth can sit on coveted posts and serve the country diligently. The Chief Minister urged the youth not to feel proud of their victory but to stay humble and work hard for more success. He said that confidence and a positive approach should be basic traits of everyone’s personality but there should be no pride in it. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is the key to success for scripting  the success in every field adding that this should be implemented in right earnest.

Punjab’s Potential: Harnessing the Spirit for Progress

The Chief Minister said that Punjab is a blessed land as every second village of the state has footprints of great Gurus and the state has produced valiant sons who had laid their lives for the country. He said that Punjabis are born entrepreneurs and leaders due to which they have proved their mettle across the globe.

 

Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the hard work and resilience of the Punjabis is unmatched owing to which they excel in every sphere. The Chief Minister emphasized that the state could harness the spirit of Punjabis to propel progress, affirming the government’s full commitment to the endeavor. He highlighted with pride and satisfaction that girls are surpassing boys in various fields, noting that a majority of jobs have been secured by girls. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that this is the need of hour to give wings to the girls for excelling in each and every field thereby enabling them to script new success stories.

State Govt’s Women Empowerment Drive

The Chief Minister said that the state government is making concerted efforts for women empowerment. He said that several districts of the state are having female officers as Senior Superintendent of Police and more than 10 districts have lady Deputy Commissioners. “Bhagwant Singh Mann stated that we are making concerted efforts for the welfare of girls in the state, and these initiatives are yielding desired results.”

Chief Minister Welcomes Youth to Government Service

The Chief Minister welcomed the youth into government service and said that it is a proud moment for all the youth, who have converged here in this function. In the coming times, when the history of the state is read, the stellar role of all these youth in carving out Rangla Punjab will be written in golden letters. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the youth must not leave any stone unturned for the progress of the state and prosperity of its people.
